can really hear the difference. Something else that makes us different
is Value. We give the most value for the investment. Lastly, we put the
customer first every time.
Q. Once I place my order how long does it take to produce
my program?
A. Usually it takes 1-2 weeks. Once we get the information
for the script, it takes 1-2 days to create a first draft which is faxed
or emailed to you for your approval. Upon approval of the script, please
allow 3-5 days for the voice talent to come in And have the script produced.
Q. Who are your voice talent?
A. We offer the finest male and female professional voice
talent in the country. Our voice talent, both English and Hispanic, are
second to none. Each can be heard on the radio or TV each day. Hard to
find voices in other languages and accents are also available. You can
select the voice you want on your program by listening to our demo CD
or logging onto our website www.adhold.com.
Q. How long is a typical Ad-Hold program?
A. Our programs are normally 6-8 minutes long and consist
of 10-12 professionally written and narrated messages mixed with licensed
background music.
Q. Is it really illegal to play the radio or store bought
CD's to callers on-hold.
A. Yes it sure is. On-Hold music is considered commercial
broadcast and you are required to purchase a license through ASCAP or
BMI in order to play an artists music to callers on-hold. Our music at
Ad-Hold is produced from various independent music production companies
and the Ad-Hold fees cover the music broadcast rights for one year and
must be renewed each year thereafter. The fees you pay Ad-Hold are a fraction
of the cost charged by the music licensing authorities ASCAP and BMI.
We offer an extensive variety of music styles from smooth jazz to classical
to instrumental country to Latin and Reggae.
Q. How does the Ad-Hold system connect to my phone system?
A. Most business phone systems have a music on-hold input
connection on the systems control unit usually located in a phone room
or utility closet. The Ad-Hold player, either a standard CD player or
Digital On-Hold player easily connects to this music on-hold input. Normally
a phone service technician is not required.
Q. What if I do not have a business phone system? Can I
still use Ad-Hold?
A. Yes, we have various message on-hold adapters available
that allow 1-4 line phones that just plug into a normal wall, like your
home phone, to play music on-hold. Now phones bought at Office Depot,
Radio Shack, Staples, Office Max, Best Buy, etc can now be outfitted to
play music on-hold.
Q. What happens if I do not like my Ad-Hold program after
it is produced?
A. We offer a 100% customer satisfaction guarantee. If you
have approved the script, selected the voice and music, and you are still
not completely satisfied, let us know what your concerns are and we'll
make it right. We are always careful in making sure that the script is
approved before we produce it.
Q. How long is the agreement?
A. We offer one and two year agreements. The fees you pay
cover the production costs and music licensing fees of the program for
one year after the date of installation. As mentioned above, music on-hold
is considered commercial broadcast and music licensing must be kept current
each year. There are several renewal options available to you. Please
ask your sales consultant for details.
